Why I'm in Italy

psybercat brought up a fair question... Why am I in italy?

I'm studying Italian literature, art and language on a field school with the Department of English at Simon Fraser University. We're hanging out at Monash University in Prato just outside Florence for the next six weeks. Then classes finish and I have a month to travel around the rest of Europe. Those plans are not set yet. I'll keep all y'all readers posted.

I wish I was just on vacation, but I actually do have lots of work and reading to do. Ciao!
